Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, booking through a Caloday page, or otherwise using Caloday, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Caloday.
What Caloday does
Caloday gives hosts a booking page. A guest picks a free time and the booking is recorded. The host and guest then meet however they have arranged: a meeting link, a call, in person.
Caloday is not a party to any meeting. We don’t check who anyone is, whether anyone shows up, or what happens in a meeting.
Accounts
- You must be at least 16.
- Give accurate details and keep your password safe. Tell us if you think someone else has your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can stop using Caloday at any time.
If you are a host
- You decide your availability and you are responsible for your page: its link, name, bio and anything else you put on it. Only publish what you have the right to publish.
- Honor the bookings you accept, or cancel in good time.
- Guests give you their name and email so you can arrange the meeting. Use those details only for that, keep them safe, and don’t add them to a marketing list or pass them on without permission.
- Follow the laws that apply to you.
If you are a guest
Give real details. A booking is a commitment to the host: if you can’t make it, tell them.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- break the law or other people’s rights;
- send spam or unwanted bulk messages through Caloday;
- pretend to be someone else;
- post abusive, harmful or misleading content;
- collect people’s details under false pretenses;
- try to reach other people’s data, or probe, scrape, overload or disrupt the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
What you put into Caloday stays yours. You give us permission to store, display and process it as needed to run the service, such as showing your page and sending booking emails. That permission ends when you delete the content, apart from short-lived backups.
Free today
Caloday is free today. A paid plan called Pro is planned but not available. If we ever charge for anything, you will see the price and agree before you are charged.
Other services
Caloday works with other services, such as Google for sign-in and the video or phone tools you use for meetings. Their terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Caloday running, but it may be slow, interrupted or change. We may add, change or remove features. Keep a copy of anything you can’t afford to lose, such as the meetings in your own calendar.
Ending your use
To delete your account, email c@caloday.com from the address on your account.
We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk, and we may end the service. If we can, we will give notice first.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Caloday is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from missed or double bookings, meetings that go wrong, or lost income. Our total liability for anything connected to Caloday is limited to US$100.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Using Caloday after that means you accept the new version.
